my niece read this book for school. I did not read it when i was in school. it was an amazing book. S E hinton was 15 when she wrote this! truly incredible! So many points of discussion... society,, rich and poor...family teens love and conflict. it was published in 1967 and still is valid today for kids and adults to read.
